How Indian wedding photography has evolved over the years?


Wedding photography in India has evolved over time and it has now improved in sophistication and scope. Earlier, wedding photographer in India, mainly meant that the bride and the groom after getting married taking a portrait in the photographer’s studio. However, this concept has undergone a drastic change in last 15 to 20 years as more and more Indians got influenced by the use of photography to create beautiful memories of this amazing day in the life of a bride or groom in the western world.


One of the great changes that you will observe that happened to wedding photography in India is the emergence of candid photography. Nowadays, people like to relive the exact atmosphere that was there on their wedding day. And in this matter, candid wedding photographers in India have evolved tremendously. 

In candid photography, photographers take pictures or videos of an event as it is happening and not asking people to pose for them. As the Indian middle class has grown exponentially in the last two decades, so have their tastes.
